If appropriate, candidates may elect to submit a concise description, no more than two pages, of their contribution to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). They may also choose to integrate these descriptions in their research, teaching, and service statements. The DEI statement provides a context for faculty to share information about how their activities contribute to the goals of the university. If the candidate elects to write a separate DEI statement it should address multiple facets of how their values and experiences have advanced and may continue to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion. These might include both individual and collaborative activities in a variety of domains, including research, teaching, service, and mentoring.
