The multiple levels of review described in this document are designed to protect the integrity of both the candidate and the standards of the institution. Every attempt will be made in the review process for all relevant information regarding the candidate to be made available to the review committees and the responsible administrative officers. Various procedures for appeal of these decisions are prescribed in the Policies of the SUNY Board of Trustees and the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the State University of New York and United University Professions.
