Crisis ServicesComprehensive crisis center serving the community with a 24-hour crisis hotline (716-834-3131).

Disaster Distress Helpline: Crisis counseling and support for people experiencing emotional distress related to natural or human-caused disasters; call or text 800-985-5990; for Spanish, press “2.”

Erie County Department of Mental Health: The department website features links to various mental health resources for the community. Call 716-858-8530 for more information.

Erie County Training Collaborative: This monthly training series is for anyone working in the system of care addressing mental health, substance use, and intellectual/developmental disabilities. Call 716-858-8530 for more information.

JustTellOne.org: Public awareness initiative of Mental Health Advocates of WNY focused on youth who are facing mental health or addiction issues. Call 716-245-6JT1 (6581) or text HOME to 741741 to reach a volunteer crisis counselor.

Mental Health Advocates of WNY: An agency providing non-clinical services that address the needs of individuals, families, and communities living with mental illness

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Buffalo & Erie County: Non-profit agency supporting, educating, and advocating for families and caregivers of individuals affected by mental illness. Call 716-886-1242.
