Gender-Inclusive Housing

UB is proud to offer gender-inclusive communities for undergraduate, graduate and professional students.

On this page:

A Safe, Comfortable Home

Our gender-inclusive housing options are for UB students who wish to live in a community without an assigned gender. In these communities:

  • Room placement and roommates are not selected on the basis of gender
  • Roommates of different genders may live in the same room or apartment

How to Apply

If you would like to live in UB’s gender-inclusive housing, simply fill out the Gender Inclusive Housing Agreement form as part of your Campus Living housing application.

Please note that spaces in all specialty areas are limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
