Make lifelong friends at Governors Complex, your new home away from home. Designed by I.M. Pei and Associates, Governors is located on UB’s North Campus, right across the street from UB’s academic spine. Everything you need is just steps away, from a new restaurant and laundry area to a high-tech study lounge.
Home to nearly 800 students in double (two-person) rooms, Governors Complex is the smaller of the two dormitory-style housing complexes on UB’s North Campus. It is divided into four identical, interconnected halls (Clinton, Dewey, Lehman and Roosevelt), each with their own activities and events—and each named for a famous New York governor.
Governors offers general and specialty housing, including areas designated for Honors College, Leadership House, Daniel Acker Scholars and Undergraduate Academies.
Governors is typically reserved for first-year students. Learn more: Where Can I Live
