Middle States Commission on Higher Education Self-Study Draft and Feedback

Published October 2, 2013 This content is archived.

Colleagues:

As you may know, UB is approaching its decennial review by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, which will take place in the spring of 2014.

Accreditation by Middle States requires the university to provide evidence that we meet the characteristics of excellence and criteria as articulated in fourteen standards for accreditation.  Evidence that we meet these standards is captured and reflected in a comprehensive Self-Study document that is now available for review by the UB campus community.

I invite you to review the Self-Study draft and provide feedback via this website: http://www.buffalo.edu/provost/accreditation/middle-states/self-study-report.html. Your comments are due by Friday, October 25, 2013.

Thank you for taking the time to contribute to this important process.

Best,

Charles F. Zukoski
Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs
