UB Scholarship Portal

The UB Scholarship Portal is your shortcut to applying for over 1,000 donor-funded scholarships across campus. To apply:

  • Log in with your UBIT credentials.
  • Complete the General Application once per year (opens July 15 and closes June 30).
  • Get matched with scholarships based on your academic, financial, and application info.

After submitting the General Application, check back regularly as new opportunities may appear in your dashboard. Some scholarships may require additional questions to complete your application.

Scholarship Highlights

For your convenience, we have gathered information on some opportunities that can be more challenging to find. These scholarships are available to students across a variety of majors who meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • demonstrated leadership capacity
  • involvement in specific community issues
  • study abroad, internship or other experiential learning plans
  • involvement in campus organizations or specific research
  • specific academic honors not associated with a major

Athletic Scholarships

Details regarding athletic scholarships and funding will not be viewable on the scholarship portal. UB reruits athletes from all over the world—typically at the top of their division or conference levels in secondary schools—and adheres to all student athlete recruiting best practices. As part of the Mid-American Conference (MAC), UB’s NCAA Division 1 athletics program requires interested students to complete an online recruiting questionnaire and then contact coaches directly.
