Students will join the Arany lab in using light based interventions to promote wound healing and tissue regeneration, using Lasers and LEDs and other non-invasive, non-pharmacological treatments to improve human health.
The Arany lab is focused on using light based interventions to promote wound healing and tissue regeneration termed Photobiomodulation Therapy. Multiple projects in the lab focus on the use of Lasers and LEDs to modulate pain or inflammation and promote tissue healing. A major theme in the lab is to explore the precise mechanisms of this innovative, non-invasive, non-pharmacological treatment to improve human health.
The specific outcomes of this project will be identified by the faculty mentor at the beginning of your collaboration.
