Students will analyze large datasets from modern magnetic resonance imaging techniques, contributing to sub-projects including data collection and analysis, applying graph theory models, and development of software tools.
Students interested in social science, helping professions (e.g., psychology, counseling, social work), and/or public health can participate in federally-funded studies examining close relationships and substance use.
CIE 324 introduces students to analysis and design of complex structural systems: the art of using the principles of statics and mechanics to calculate the design axial and shear forces and moments and then determine the size and arrangement of structural elements under prescribed loads.
