After-school, intensive tutoring sessions occur on-site at CLaRI. For 12 weeks, children come to CLaRI two times a week (Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays) for comprehensive, one-on-one tutoring. Each tutoring session is 75 minutes in length, for a total of 150 minutes of tutoring each week. Spring 2018 after-school tutoring is full. We are currently taking application for fall 2018 tutoring.
CLaRI’s on-site program “One-to-one Reading & Writing Sessions" provides individualized tutoring to children entering Kindergarten through 12 grade. Certified literacy specialists provide weekly, hour-long literacy sessions on Saturday mornings that use authentic literature and research-based practices to tailor instruction to meet each child’s unique literacy and learning needs. Children working below, on, or above grade level are welcome to attend. Instructional sessions are 60 minutes in length, with 55 minutes of instruction and 5 minutes of parent debriefing. One or all of the following literacy areas can be addressed during tutoring sessions: comprehension, vocabulary development, writing, spelling, and fluency. There are a few spring 2018 tutoring spots available.

Summer 2018 classes run from Monday, July 9th to Saturday, August 11th. Morning, afternoon, and evening sessions are available. Children working below, on, or above grade level are welcome to attend.
