After-School ACCESS Tutoring
Registration will open on November 1st, 2026 for tutoring during the spring 2027 semester. Spring tutoring will be held from late January to April.
Spring 2027 Tutoring
After-school ACCESS tutoring sessions occur on-site at CLaRI on either Monday and Wednesday OR Tuesday and Thursday. For 13 weeks, children attend CLaRI tutoring two times a week for comprehensive, one-on-one tutoring and small-group literacy tutoring.
Each tutoring session is 1 hour in length, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday OR Tuesday and Thursday, for 13 weeks. Tutoring is held in person and on-site at CLaRI (UB's south campus). Children receive small-group and one-on-one tutoring throughout the program, reading real literature and reciving explicit reading instruction. At the end of the semester, parents receive a report detailing their child’s instruction and academic progress.
