CLaRI is offering in-person after-school tutoring during UB's spring 2027 semester. We offer tutoring on Mondays/Wednesdays and Tuesdays/Thursdays. Families pick either Monday/Wednesday tutoring or Tuesday/Thursday tutoring and must attend tutoring on those days throughout the semester.
Families are encouraged to choose the Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday tutoring schedule that best fits their availability, with the goal of attending every session. Consistent attendance helps children benefit fully from the program. If a child has repeated absences, we may need to discontinue their participation.
Evaluation:
Spring 2026 instruction will begin with literacy evaluations on Tuesday, January 19 and Wednesday January 20th, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Children only need to attend 1 evaluation day, either Tuesday (1/19) or Wednesday 1/20.
Tutoring Days:
Monday/Wednesday tutoring: Literacy instruction begins on Monday, January 25th and continues until Wednesday, April 28th. We will not have tutoring during UB's spring break, Monday March 15th and Wednesday, March 17th.
Tuesday/Thursday tutoring: Literacy instruction begins on Tuesday, January 26th and continues until Thursday, April 29th. We will not have tutoring during UB's spring break, Tuesday, March 16th and Thursday, March 18th.
