International Student Information

Most international students are on an F1 Visa. There are two types of off campus work authorizations these students can apply for: Curricular Practical Training (CPT) –usually used for internships and Optional Practical Training (OPT) –usually used post-graduation, but may also be used for internships.

Info. Sessions

Help put a face to your company.

Info sessions are designed to connect students and employers in an informal and intimate setting so students can learn more about employers and their job and internship opportunities.

Virtual Employer Info. Sessions

To ensure the health and safety of the UB community all employer information sessions will transition from in-person to virtual.

UB Career Services staff will work directly with all employers to provide guidance in utilizing video conferencing technology, such as Zoom, as an alternative way to connect with UB students.
