You will need a user account in order to log in and use Bullseye powered by Handshake. If you've received an invite from UB, you can follow the link to take you to the account creation process. If you're signing up without an invite, go to create an employer account.

You will need to be connected to your company profile on Bullseye powered by Handshake prior to taking any actions with schools. Your company should pull up based on the domain of your email address if it is already in Bullseye powered by Handshake. If it isn't, you should see the option to create a new company profile. 

You must request and receive approval from a school prior to posting jobs there. Use the filters on the right side of the screen to search for University at Buffalo during your sign-up process. You can always select more schools at any time afterward.

Once you've connected to the University at Buffalo, you will be able to post jobs, host events, request on-campus interview schedules, manage your applicants, and more.

Here are a few tips to help get the right candidates for your job or internship.

• Have your posting active for 60 days or less.  Updating and refreshing your posting shows students that you are still actively searching for candidates.
• Clearly state the job or internship qualifications and responsibilities so students know what they are signing up for and if they're qualified to apply.
• List a contact person so students know who to address cover letters to and who they can reach out to if they have questions.

• ⭐️ Preselect (Recommended) – A preselect schedule allows you to set candidate screening criteria, review resumes and "invite" candidates you select to an interview. Applicants then select their available times to interview.
• Preselect Continuous - Preselect continuous allows you to review interview requests and make interview decisions on an ongoing basis. Students can sign up as soon as an interview decision has been made for their interview request.
• Open Schedule – An open schedule allows any applicant that meets your screening criteria to submit their resume and sign up for an interview time.

Employers can proactively message students on Bullseye powered by Handshake as long as the following are all true: 

✅ The company profile has a Trust Score of >80.

• Employers with a Trust Score of N/A or lower than 80 won't be able to proactively message students. This is to ensure that students are contacted by established employers via Bullseye powered by Handshake. For more information, refer to Why can't I message students?

✅ The company is approved to connect with the school.

✅ The student has activated their profile and their profile visibility is not "Private."

✅ Applicable messaging limits have not been reached.
