Sunday, August 23, from noon to 4:00 p.m.

The UB Shuttles will not be able to access the stops at Moody and Newcomb Terraces during move-in.

Thursday, August 20

• The Ellicott Tunnel will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. to allow for safe move in of residents living in the Ellicott Complex.  A temporary bus stop will be located at Greiner Hall.
• Goodyear Road on the South Campus will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to midnight to allow safe move in to Goodyear and Clement Halls. A temporary bus stop will be located at the intersection of Goodyear Road and Hayes Road.

Friday, August 21

• Lee Road from the traffic circle to Hamilton Road will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. to allow for safe move in of Greiner Hall.  A temporary bus stop will be located at Hamilton and Frontier Roads. Buses will return to the Ellicott Tunnel bus stop when Lee Road reopens.
• Goodyear Road will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. to allow safe move in to Goodyear and Clement Halls.  A temporary bus stop will be located at the intersection of Goodyear Road and Hayes Road.

UB Stampede bus and shuttle schedules for move-in week and the 2026 Fall Semester have been announced. See the highlights below.

Stampede Buses

• The Summer Session Stampede schedule will take effect Monday and Tuesday, August 17 to 18. In addition, on Tuesday, the Yellow Line (North-South express) service will operate from 7:05 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.
• From Wednesday, August 19, through Friday, August 21, buses will depart every 10 minutes during peak times (7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.) and every 15 to 30 minutes thereafter (7:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.).
• The regular fall schedule for the Stampede will take effect Monday, August 24.
• Extra Stampede services will operate to support Welcome Weekend events and activities.

Shuttles

• Fall shuttle schedules will take effect Monday, August 24.
• Extra shuttle services will operate to support Welcome Weekend events and activities.

Shopping Shuttles

• The Apartment Shopping Shuttle service will take effect Thursday, August 27.
• The North Campus and South Campus Shopping Shuttle services will take effect Saturday, August 29.
