Karen owns SharpHR Career Coaching.  She is a certified professional career coach, who works with college students, new grads and clients looking to transition into a 2^nd or 3^rd career. Her clients come to her from all across the United States and abroad.  She specializes in helping her clients explore career paths, transition into new careers and target new job opportunities. She will be celebrating 21 years in business in May 2022. Karen started a career podcast in February 2020 called SharpHR Career Corner where she interviews people in all different types of careers and learns about their individual career journey.

Karen has close ties to UB.  She is a proud parent of a student in the UB Department of Psychology as well as a proud aunt of a student in the UB School of Law.  Her husband also works for the UB Facilities department as a mechanical engineer.  Go Bulls!
