All in-person events scheduled through June 6, 2020 have been cancelled, including Reunion Weekend and Golden Reunion. Use the links below to find out more information.

The University at Buffalo is monitoring the COVID-19 (the disease caused by the novel coronavirus) situation carefully and is taking proactive and prudent measures to ensure the health and safety of the UB community in accordance with the guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Golden Reunion.

This June, connect with old friends and meet new people at this university-wide celebration. Highlights include a Golden Reunion luncheon, lectures, tours, the UB Alumni Association Achievement Awards and special celebratory dinners.

8 a.m.-5 p.m. The Future of Leadership: Annual CLOE Conference

Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences Building, 955 Main Street

The UB School of Management's Center for Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness (CLOE) presents its annual conference. This year’s featured speaker is Daniel Pink, author of Drive: The Surprising Truth About What Motivates Us. The conference brings together hundreds of leaders from business, nonprofit and academic worlds, featuring presentations from School of Management faculty, scholars and experts.

6-9 p.m. Alumni Association Achievement Awards

1-4 p.m. Open House and School of Architecture and Planning 50th Anniversary Exhibit

Open to everyone

The School of Architecture and Planning invites all alumni to its open house in renovated Hayes Hall. Faculty in the school’s research centers present their latest projects, and an exhibit featuring work by alumni during the school’s first 50 years is on display.

2-3 p.m. Lifelong Learning for Alumni: Session One

Topic A:     THC to CBD: Making Sense of Medical Marijuana

We will take a look at the pharmacology and mythology surrounding the use of cannabis as a medical product.

Topic B:     The UB Poetry Collection and James Joyce

Learn how the poetry collection began in the 1930s and what it is known for today. We’ll specifically explore the world’s largest collection of manuscripts and works by and about the renowned Irish author James Joyce.

A large-scale effort to revitalize UB’s South Campus has been underway for several years. Hear about updates to the project and find out what is next.

Topic D:     The New Face of Philanthropy

We’ll explore the evolution in ways to give back to causes you care about, how new generations are influencing charitable giving, and planning for philanthropy later in life.

Join UB’s Department of Psychology as it celebrates its 100th anniversary! With an evening of networking, camaraderie and reminiscing about the tremendous growth of the department since 1919, the reception includes beverages and hors d’oeurves in the beautiful upper level of the Anderson Gallery. Alumni can connect with one another and with current and former faculty members.

Join your fellow alumni to cheer on the Buffalo Bisons. We have reserved Center Field Pavilion, which includes an all-you-can-eat, pre-game buffet of ballpark-style food and a game ticket. Register early, as space will be limited. Pre-game buffet from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; first pitch at 1:05 p.m.

Shuttle service

On-campus shuttle service will be provided on Saturday morning to the Downtown campus for Spring Lecture Day, returning back to South campus in time for the Golden Reunion Luncheon.
