Swimming and diving freshman Pinar Donmez won the 200-yard breaststroke with a school record time of 2:13.98, helping the Bulls place third at the Zippy Invite in Akron, Ohio, in December.
Meg Lucas, a 6-foot-1 forward from Melbourne, Australia, has consistently ranked among the nation’s top freshmen in rebounding. As of press time, Lucas was the fourth-leading freshman in the country, averaging 10.3 rebounds per game.
UB student-athletes posted a 3.343 grade point average for the fall semester, the second-highest GPA in Athletics Department history. Forty-four Bulls recorded a perfect 4.0, and 174 had a 3.5 or better. Women’s tennis claimed the top spot with a 3.836 GPA, while men’s tennis led all men’s teams with a 3.513.
