Working with UBfs Myfiles

In My Virtual Public Site you can easily open from and save to your UBfs Myfiles.

Open UBfs Myfiles from desktop:

1. Log into My Virtual Public Site

2. On the desktop screen, double-click the My Home Directory icon

3. Microsoft Explorer will open with a view of your UBfs Myfiles. From here you can manage files, or double-click to launch them with the associated program.

Open UBfs Myfiles from a program:

1. In the application, click Open

2. Browse to This PC > Network Locations > S:

3. Double-click the file you want to open

Save a file to UBfs Myfiles

  • If you opened the file from Myfiles, in the application, click File > Save
  • If the file is new, click File > Save as and browse to This PC > Network Locations > S: and choose Save as
