Forgot your PIN for UB voicemail? Now you can easily reset or change it online.

Starting May 14, 2018, UB faculty and staff can reset their PIN by logging into the Cisco online Self Care Portal using their UBITName and password.

Previously, customers who forgot their PIN needed to contact the UBIT Help Center to reset it.

The UBIT website has complete instructions for changing or resetting your UB voicemail PIN, from the Self Care Portal or your desk phone.

Once you log in to the Self Care Portal, click "General Settings" in the menu bar at the top of the page. Under "Phone Services PIN," you can enter your new phone PIN.

Once you reset your PIN, it will be the same on all phone-related systems at UB that use a PIN.

Changes for the better

This change comes amid a series of upgrades to UB phone services, including:

  • the introduction of Cisco Jabber, which enables UB phone functionality, instant messaging and more on your computer or mobile device; and
  • an upcoming project to replace and upgrade 5,000+ phones across campus.
