Email Employment Scam - "Job Opportunities from Buffalo Career Center" (12/09/2020)

An email supposedly from Sarah D. Lipczynski with the email address "careers@buffalo.edu" claiming that the recipient is eligible for a part-time to help cover expenses for the Christmas holiday and for the beginning of the Spring Semester.

1. There is no email of careers@buffalo.edu 
2. The reply-to address and address in the attached PDF file are gmail accounts and not UB accounts.

1. Change any passwords on accounts that were involved in the scam

1. Report to scam itself to the FTC: https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/job-scams
2. If you've lost money in the scam:

• Contact any financial institutions involved
• Make a report to your local law enforcement.  If you are a member of the University at Buffalo, please contact University Police
• File a complaint at the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3
