Each November, enrollees in the NYS Health Insurance Program (NYSHIP) may elect to participate or not participate in the Pre-Tax Contribution Program (PTCP) for the upcoming plan year. During November, current PTCP enrollees may also make changes to their coverage which impact the NYSHIP deduction for the upcoming plan year, without a qualifying event.
On November 3, 2017, individuals enrolled in the SUNY 403(b) Voluntary Savings Program and Optional Retirement Program (ORP) will now be able to manage their plans online through a new program called Retirement@Work.
Eligible Graduate Student Employees Union (GSEU) employees can apply now for professional development funds for activity between July 2, 2017 and July 1, 2018.
UB Human Resources will host a Retirement and Financial Planning Fair for State employees on Thursday, March 22 at the Center for Tomorrow (CFT) from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. 
The University at Buffalo cancelled all classes on March 2, 2018 due to inclement weather. As this cancellation on March 2 was not ordered by the New York State Governor’s Office, employees are required to charge leave accruals.
