Dear University Community:

I am pleased to share with you UB’s Self-Study Report compiled for the Middle States Commission on Higher Education decennial review, available at http://www.buffalo.edu/provost/accreditation/middle-states/self-study-report.html. From this self-study, it is evident that UB faces a bright and purposeful future.

Sustaining accreditation requires UB to supply evidence that we meet fourteen standards of excellence. UB’s comprehensive self-study, “Framework for Excellence”, provides this evidence, affirming the strength and quality of our institution.

I would like to offer my thanks to the hundreds of faculty and staff members who have contributed to the development of UB’s self-study report. I look forward to continued collaboration with you as we create UB’s future.

UB RENEW (Research and Education in eNergy, Environment and Water) Institute is university-wide and interdisciplinary, focusing on complex energy and environmental issues, as well as the social and economic ramifications. It helps develop and coordinate innovative research, education and outreach programs.
Community Health Equity Research Institute

A center that conducts research that addresses the root causes of health disparities in Buffalo, while developing and testing innovative solutions to eliminate health inequities in the region.
Global Health Equity

UB Microbiome Center
