In spring 2025, the Department of Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering (CSEE) and the Institute for Sustainable Transportation and Logistics (ISTL) made strategic investments to renovate and expand a graduate student research office in Ketter Hall. The office is located within Ketter 204, which serves as the headquarters for ISTL.
Renovated gradaute transportation research office.
The upgraded office features fresh paint, new carpeting and an updated furniture suite. Designed to foster focused research, the space allows students to write code, develop algorithms and perform data analysis related to transportation studies.
Now open, the office actively supports students and faculty engaged in transportation-related research across CSEE and ISTL. Current student researchers work under the guidance of Dr. Adel Sadek, professor, Dr. Ziqi Song, associate professor, Dr. Austin Angulo, assistant professor and Dr. Irina Benedyk, assistant professor.
The renovation is part of an ongoing effort to strengthen the university’s research infrastructure and student success.
