Parking and Transportation Services is celebrating Transit Driver Appreciation Day throughout the month of March. The March 18 holiday celebrates the public service of transit vehicle operators around the world.

Write a Thank-You Note at Our Pop-Ups

To recognize and appreciate their delivery of essential services, Parking and Transportation Services is encouraging students, faculty and staff to fill out thank-you notes for our Stampede and shuttle operators.

We will host pop-ups throughout the month for the UB community to write the notes to our operators. In exchange for a submission, participants will receive a limited-edition Parking and Transportation Services sticker and/or freebie.

The current pop-up dates and times are as follows:

  • Noon to 2 p.m. Friday, February 27, at the Compass Lobby* in Capen.
  • Until supplies last at the Student Engagement Office starting Wednesday, March 4.
  • 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, at the Harriman Hall lobby.
  • 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, on North Campus (location to be determined).
  • 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, on North Campus (location to be determined).

*Directions: Walk into the Capen main entrance from the doors closest to the Flint bus loop. Walk towards One World seating and look to your left through the sets of double doors.
