Your Options

"Perhaps most important, we need to keep saying to anyone out there who has ever been assaulted: you are not alone. We have your back. I’ve got your back."
President Barack Obama
January 22, 2014
  • You may pursue a criminal complaint with law enforcement.
  • You may pursue disciplinary charges against the perpetrator.
  • You may file a report of discrimination and harassment.
  • You may pursue more than one option at the same time.
  • You may choose not to pursue a complaint or report, and still obtain assistance and accommodations.

You may call Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) anonymously to discuss the situation and your options.  EDI can assist you in obtaining a change in housing, protective measures, academic and workplace accommodations, and other steps that can help.

Your Opinion Counts

Whether or not you reported a sexual assault incident, we’d like your opinion on how we can improve the effectiveness of our campus policies and procedures that address sexual misconduct.  Please share your suggestions and/or feedback by making an appointment with EDI or by completing this online form.
