Workforce Buffalo is a network of employment and training providers and community support agencies, committed to changing the face of workforce development in our community. The BEOC has worked with the Buffalo and Erie County Workforce Investment Board (WIB) to develop customer service programming for those that are unemployed, under-employed to develop the skills the workforce needs to meet employers’ demands.

1199SEIU provides complete health benefits, a defined monthly pension at retirement and training, educational, job security, and childcare benefits all at little or no cost to its members. The BEOC provided professional development, as well as training opportunities, in allied health for 1199 members.

Buffalo Fire Department (BFD)
The Buffalo Fire Department provides fire protection and emergency medical services citywide.

WNY CDL provides Class A and Class B commercial driver’s license training.
