Project description

The goal of the project is to design and build a three degree of freedom platform which can serve to simulate the motion of a ship deck to permit automated UAV landing testing. The platform should be able to pitch, roll and heave and have a bandwidth which permits wave stimulated ship deck motion. It should also be driven by motors which are strong enough to account for the landing impact of UAVs.
