Angela Thering, Ph.D., of the University at Buffalo Office of Curriculum, Assessment and Teaching Transformation is featured in this year’s report for contributions to innovative teaching and accessibility practices. Her work highlights practical applications of generative AI in higher education, including faculty-focused resources that support accessible course design, instructional innovation and Title II digital accessibility readiness.
Dr. Thering’s AI Snackables initiative is featured in the “Technological Trends” section under “In Practice.” Her LMS resource, Making Course Content Accessible with AI: Title II Readiness, is highlighted in the “Policy Trends” section under “In Practice” for its use of AI-supported workflows and practical accessibility strategies to help faculty improve digital course materials.
