After beating ranked pairs from Columbia and Harvard, Petr Vodak and Vidit Vaghela were elevated to 64th out of 90 by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, becoming UB’s first doubles team to be nationally ranked. Keep taking it to those Ivy Leaguers, boys.
Ally Power served up five goose eggs against the Eastern Michigan Eagles in March—a near-perfect outing for a pitcher. In the five-inning game cut short by the mercy rule, Power allowed zero hits and struck out five in the first no-hitter by a Bulls softball team since 2014.
Discus thrower Miranda Daucher logged the second-longest throw in the MAC this season and set a facility record at the Bucknell Bison Classic in April, chucking the discus 176 feet 2 inches. That’s roughly the length of 352 hot dogs!
