Burnin’ up the pool

Megan Burns swam the 50-yard freestyle in 22.16 seconds at the MAC Championships, breaking the conference, pool and school records in that event while hitting an NCAA B cut time.

Can we call it an “eight-peat”?

For the eighth semester in a row, UB athletes have registered a cumulative GPA above 3.0. Given that many D-1 schools celebrate passing that bar just once, we think doing it eight times running deserves a curtain call.
