I-CSK Student Paper Award: Call for Submissions

The I-CSK Program Committee invites graduate students who have been selected to present their work at the 2026 I-CSK conference to submit their conference manuscript for the Student Paper Award. The I-CSK Student Paper Award recognizes outstanding sociological research on Korea and/or the Korean diaspora.

The graduate student must be the sole or first author of the submitted paper. Faculty co-authorship is not allowed. Published papers or papers accepted for publication will not be considered for the student paper award.

The nomination deadline is July 20, 2026, and notification of selection will be sent on August 1, 2026. The awardee will be provided a hotel room for up to 3 nights during the conference hosted by The Asia Research Institute (ARI) at the State University of New York at Buffalo (UB).
