What’s the UB Concussion Research Program?
Leddy partnered with his UB colleague Barry Willer to develop an exercise-based test that helps doctors understand when it’s safe for an athlete to return to play following a concussion. Patients treated at Leddy’s clinic include players from the National Football League and National Hockey League. He is director of the Concussion Management Clinic and clinical associate professor of orthopedics in the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
