Regional Leaders:

• Complete and submit the event request form (30 days or more before the event)
• Develop the event (event type, format, location, capacity, menu) 
• Work with the venue/organization on the details
• Help with promoting the event through your personal networks
• Accept a box of UB SWAG and event items
• Set up SWAG, circulate sign in sheet and organize informal group photos at the event
• Provide attendance results to alumni engagement
• Optional: take photos and share with alumni engagement
• Share any feedback/let us know if you plan to do this again
  
   

The Office of Alumni Engagement provides:

• A designated staff liaison assigned to your network
• An overview of alumni demographics in the area, as needed
• A survey of area alumni, as needed
• Event support – registration, event expenses, attendee reports, post-event surveys to attendees
  
• Event arrangements (e.g., catering, tickets, will calls, etc.) 
• Event promotion to area alumni via e-mail
• Shipment of event supplies and UB SWAG
• Payment of event admission fee for staffing as a volunteer 

Regional Network Leaders typically help plan the following events for alumni in their area:

• Welcome recent grads event
• Annual UB Alumni Founders Day gathering
• UB or Buffalo affiliated Watch Party
• Community Service
