WinSCP: Windows Download for Personally Owned Computers

Upload and download files with a secure file transfer (SFTP) program.

WinSCP is an open source Secure FTP (SFTP) and FTP client for Windows.  Its main function is the safe copying of files between a local and a remote computer.

Click Installation Package to download. Do NOT click the large Download buttons inside the WinSCP site, they are advertisements.

Eligibility

WinSCP may be downloaded by faculty, staff and students, as well as members of the UB community and retirees.
