Downloading Maple for Windows for Personally-Owned Computers

Perform symbolic and numeric computation. Maple is a mathematical application that supports symbolic and numeric computation and graphics.

Availability

  • Use Maple remotely through My Virtual Computing Lab.
  • Use Maple in Computing Sites.
  • Run Maple from UBUnix.
  • Download Maple.

Maple is available to:

  • UB Students who have paid the Comprehensive fee
  • UB Faculty
  • UB Faculty Student Association employees
  • UB Geographic Full time Faculty
  • UB State employees (UUP, CSEA, MC, PEF)
  • UB Sub-Board I (SBO) employees
  • UB Research Foundation employees
  • UB Foundation employees

Updating to 16.2 for Windows 8

Important:

If you are installing Maple on Windows 8, first download and install Maple 16 and then download and install the upgrade to 16.2

Important Installation Notes

  • Stay connected to the Internet while installing Maple.
  • See if your computer is running a 32- or 64-bit version of Windows.
  • Copy the purchase code when it appears in a second window; you must enter it later in the installation.
  • Select Single User license.
  • Use your UBITName@buffalo.edu address when completing the email address registration field.
