Michael Canfield joined UB in January 2023 as an IT Communications Specialist for UBIT. A former newspaper reporter with a background in higher ed communication, Michael is also a volunteer firefighter. When he’s not writing or learning about all things UBIT, Michael likes to spend time with his wife and two English bulldogs.

Level Up features more than 50 gaming PCs loaded with an impressive game library. You can also reserve a gaming console pod to play with friends on the latest consoles like Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X.

Whether you're into Mario Kart or Madden, Level Up’s collection has dozens of single-player and co-op games. And if you have a game suggestion, UBIT is all ears for expanding its gaming library! Enjoy some well-deserved relaxation and gaming fun.

Need a place to study or work instead?

Over the summer, the computing site adjacent to Level Up moved to Silverman’s third floor and offers even more space in a central location to accommodate your needs for coursework and studies. Students have access to the same technology, including large UltraWide monitors where you can connect your own device.

Silverman also has longer hours for the Fall 2023 semester.
