Blake Cooper (UB Student, Class of 2016) is originally from Canandaigua, NY. He is studying Spanish, Linguistics and Comparative Literature, and beginning work on translating an Argentinian novel into English.

My Virtual Computing Lab is a library of software titles available via remote connection from any computer with Internet access. When students connect to My Virtual Computing Lab on their personal computers, they will see a Windows desktop, much like the machines in UB's public computing sites, where they can access software without having to install it directly to their machines.

Notably, Microsoft Office has been upgraded from 2010 to 2013. IBM’s analytics software SPSS also received a major upgrade, from version 21 to 22.

A full list of available software titles includes:

ArcGIS 10.1 sp4

Karel the Robot 1

Maple 17

Matlab R2013b

Mathematica 9.0.1

MiniTab 16.2.4

Microsoft Office 2013
