• The General University Service Fee accounts for $79,727 of Student Payroll costs.
• 100% of Recreation and Intramurals student monitor payroll is funded through this fee.
• Over 200 students were employed during the course of the year.

• The General University Service Fee accounts for approximately $47,065
  of infrastructure costs.
• Over 170,000 participation swipes at both facilities during monitored hours by student employees.
• Over 950 individuals certified through CPR/AED courses each year.
• 314 Intramural Sports teams with over 3,760 participants.  Offer one day tournaments – dodgeball and 3-on-3 basketball, powerlifting competition.
• Offer Unplug & Play activities, group fitness classes in yoga, Zumba, cardio kick and sculpt. Offered March into Wellness workshop series and weekly online fitness workouts.
• Offer lifeguard instructor and water safety instructor certification.

What does my recreation fee dollars go towards?

The Recreation fee supports a wide range of recreational programs, facilities, equipment, and student employees.

Does the money support sports or Athletics?

No, Recreation fees do not support sports or Athletics.

Why do you charge me for other programs like intramurals when I am paying a recreation fee?

The Recreation fee is not adequate to cover full funding for all of the programming and staffing that is appropriate for and demanded by our students. Therefore, some programs and services require fees to cover the operational costs.
