Marketing and Communications Committee

Committee Charge

The Marketing and Communications Committee serves the Professional Staff Senate by developing marketing and branding guidelines, implementing UB branding, identity and accessibility standards, maintaining the PSS website, and ensuring consistent, effective communication that is aligned with the PSS mission and the branding message of UB.

The Marketing and Communications Committee provides:

  • Marketing communications to the membership, committees, and UB staff.
  • Marketing assistance to all PSS committees and the membership, including, but not limited to, flyers, news announcements, signage, merchandise, photography, social media coordination, etc.
  • Content proofing and advising to all PSS committees and the membership.
  • The PSS Newsletter once per month, which highlights events, news, staff recognition, and resources.
  • The implementation, organization, and timeliness of the PSS website by the Website Subcommittee, which includes:
    • Publishing and maintaining up-to-date website content that is of benefit to the professional staff and the mission of the Professional Staff Senate
    • Facilitating access to that content through a user-friendly website
    • Serving as a public record of Professional Staff Senate business and activities
