Four AI technologies that could transform the way we live and work

A story in Nature mentions technology developed by Siwei Lyu, that can detect deepfakes (the manipulation of images or video to replace someone’s likeness). Lyu’s algorithms identify the subtle changes left by creators when they resize or rotate a person’s face to merge or superimpose it onto an image or video.
