An article on Vice about the Trump administration’s announcement that DACA would end and that those eligible for the program would need to renew their paperwork by Oct. 5 if they wanted to keep their work permits interviews Nicole Hallett, assistant clinical professor and director of UB’s Community Justice Clinic, who said she has tried to be available to help DACA recipients, but instead of helping mobs of people, she’s had a lot of time to consider why some may not be taking advantage of the offer. "There was only a month between the announcement and the deadline," she said. "People have lives and jobs and everything else."
