A story on CNBC’s The Rundown interviews Jacob Neiheisel, assistant professor of political science, about how Bernie Sanders can help unite the Democratic Party by highlighting to his followers the stark differences between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. “I think it would start with making a statement and drawing a distinction between the presumptive nominees and saying what a wide gulf separates the philosophy of Democrats from the philosophy of Republicans, and that will start the process of getting the party back on board,” he said.
