Acquittal in Freddie Gray case will not alter Maryland prosecutors' strategy

A Reuters article about the acquittal of Baltimore Police Officer Edward Nero, who was charged with illegal arrest and causing criminal injury in a transport van in the death of Freddie Gray, looks at how the acquittal could impact charges against other officers, including Garrett Miller, Nero’s partner, and quotes Chris O’Brien, co-director of trial advocacy in the UB School of Law.
