A front-page article in the Buffalo News reports the number of graduates from the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences who choose to stay in Buffalo for their residencies is the highest it has been in years, with 45 out of 143 member of the current class set to start programs in Buffalo-area hospitals, and notes the soon-to-be residents say they are staying in Buffalo because they’re impressed with the physicians and faculty they have met during their time as UB medical students.
