An article in Politico about the Iran-based hackers charged with targeting U.S. financial institutions and a dam near New York City quotes Arun Vishwanath, associate professor of communication. Vishwanath says infrastructure attacks are the way of the future. “Much of the infrastructure we have are pretty old. They’re legacy systems. They’re not built for security, with security in mind. It’s a lot easier for bad guys to get in.”
