An article in The Washington Post about the implications of the Hulk Hogan verdict quotes Samantha Barbas, associate professor of law. Barbas says the verdict will be important because it indicates a cultural shift, “The jury is essentially saying too much free speech is dangerous. There are a lot of people who are disgusted with the way the media is corrupting the public sphere.”
