Withdrawal of Russian troops will have 'marginal effect' on Syrian conflict

Vice interviews Elena McLean, UB assistant professor of political science, about Russian President Vladimir Putin’s announcement that his country would be withdrawing the bulk of their military forces from Syria. McLean told Vice that Putin’s decision is “unlikely to change the course of this conflict” due to a number of complex factors.
