An article in The Washington Post about Mattel’s makeover of the Barbie doll to include more diverse body types and hair, eye and skin colors quotes Arun Jain, Samuel Capen Professor of Marketing Research in the UB School of Management. “I don’t know why Mattel waited this long, but I’m glad they’re doing it,” he said. “And it should help them.” Jain also is quoted in articles that appeared in the Houston Chronicle and Australia News Network.
