An article in the New York Daily News about an appeals court ruling halting the state Supreme Court injunction that barred FanDuel and DraftKings from doing business in New York State quotes Nellie Drew, a sports law instructor in the UB Law School. “This certainly doesn’t happen every day,” she said. “In my opinion this had to do with the amount of money at stake – the idea of irreparable harm to the companies that won’t be able to be made up after the fact.” Articles also appeared on Newsday and the Philadelphia Inquirer.
